Church of the Outer Banks is a community of believers from all ages and backgrounds. On Sunday mornings at 9:30 AM in First Flight High School's auditorium in Kill Devil Hills, you’ll find a family-friendly atmosphere that is biblical, welcoming, multi-generational, prayerful and missional. Doors open for service at 9:00 AM. Service is available to live stream or listen on demand. We are a church that stands on the authority of scripture and believes our vision is to love God, love others, and live on mission. We offer children, youth, young adult, men's, women's, and marriage ministry groups for bible study. We are part of the Anglican Church of North America through the Diocese of the Carolinas. We invite you to come join us for worship or Wednesday morning prayer at our Church Office.

Mike Ehl grew up in San Diego where he first met and participated in Pastor Jamie Smith’s youth group as a freshman in High School. Mike was hired on as a Middle School youth leader at the same church right out of High School where he developed a love and passion for sharing Christ with students. Mike served at that church for 8 years before moving with his wife and son to Texas. During their time in Texas, Mike felt the calling on his life to pursue ministry full time and went on to receive his Master’s of Divinity degree from Bethel Seminary. Mike and his wife Danley have been married since 2012 and have 4 children (Simeon, Eisley, Adelina and Trinity). They have been living in the Outer Banks since 2022 and love the community they have been welcomed into.

Having come to Christ later in life while putting his military career ahead of his family and marriage, Kelly vowed not to allow that to happen again by surrendering everything to Jesus and being fully devoted to his spouse Monique (who also served our country), and their three daughters, who now make a full quiver of 5 daughters. Kelly’s transformation has come from other Godly men pouring their lives out for him during great difficulty, Kelly now has that same desire to serve the Church (body of Christ) by pouring into other men, who pour into men; making disciples and disciple-makers. He believes strongly, that healthy families are led by strong men who love their wives as Christ loves the church that is the bride of Christ. He is passionate about loving men and loving others as Christ first loves him. Kelly and Monique are grateful for the opportunity to live and love the community in OBX.
