    Founder/Owner

    John, founder and owner of Action Plumbing, has called the Outer Banks home since 1994. Shortly after relocating, he earned his Master Plumber certification and has been handling construction, service, and remodeling projects ever since. “It’s all about helping people—that’s what I truly enjoy,” he says. When he’s not on the job, you might find him in his band room practicing the drums—or even performing live on occasion. Otherwise, he enjoys relaxing at home with his wife, Lynn, their two cats, Simey and Leon, and their golden retrievers, Gary and GiGi.

  • Jason Biggs

    A transplant from Virginia, Jason brings some noteworthy credentials with him including a Master Plumber license & Medical Gas certification. With a background in new construction, Jason can sometimes be found on remodels & re-pipe projects. A family man, as he enjoys spending his off-hours with loved ones, going to the beach, or attending his son’s ball games.

  • Chad Duvall

    Plumber

    Originally from South Carolina, Chad relocated to the Outer Banks with his family in 2025. With 23 years of experience in fire and EMS service, he brings a calm, solution-focused approach and a passion for helping people when they need it most. Outside of work, Chad enjoys model trains with his son, Seth, and spending time with his wife, Wendy, and their two children.

  • Luke Edmonson

    Hailing from VA Beach, our service manager brings a lot to the table with his strong service skills. Luke also holds a degree from Norfolk Trade School. “Pretty much my whole career has been service work. I like problem-solving.” After hours, Luke enjoys kicking back, rooting for the Redskins, and visiting the mountains.

    Service Technician

    Steve grew up in Long Island, where he spent 20 years playing baseball for tournament teams and his local community college. Four years ago, he embarked on a new journey, moving to the Outer Banks and starting a career in plumbing. Outside of work, Steve enjoys spending quality time with his wife and their two young children. We’re excited to have Steve as part of the team!

    Plumber

    Terry came to the Outer Banks from Connecticut to enjoy the area’s beautiful beaches and fishing. With more than 25 years in the plumbing industry, he brings extensive experience, a strong work ethic, and a genuine enjoyment of helping customers. When he’s not working, Terry can be found fishing, relaxing outdoors, spending time with his partner Jennifer, or showing off his cooking skills.

  • Mike Megel

    Mike recently relocated to the Outer Banks from Fairfax, VA. With over 20 years of plumbing experience behind him, Mike is certainly the man when it comes to plumbing service! In the office we refer to him as ‘Magic Mike’ because he knows how to get the job done fast and efficiently and is a welcome part of the Action Plumbing team. In his spare time, Mike enjoys going to museums and looking for unique pieces of art to add to his collection.

  • Alex Osborn

    Like father, like son, Alex has joined the world of plumbing! Helping out at an early age, he learned the basic principles. “I enjoy plumbing quite a bit and I get to work with my Dad every day. We make a great team.” In his off hours, Alex likes to ride motorcycles, bicycles and skateboards. He also plays a mean guitar.

    Coming to us from Fredericksburg, Virginia with over 20 years’ experience in the industry, Shane’s sunny disposition and passion for plumbing makes him a great addition to our team of service technicians. When Shane isn’t working, he enjoys spending time at the beach with his love, Danielle, and their two boys, Colby & Isaac.

  • Teesa Belanga

    Customer Service Coordinator II

    Hailing from Northern Virginia but now a permanent resident of the Outer Banks, Teesa brings to Action Plumbing vast experience in customer service, management, and planning. When she's not treating our technicians to her delicious homemade goodies, she enjoys spending quality time with her family (which includes 4 children and 3 grandchildren), dozen or more cats, and her dogs. If you don’t see her helping the wild horses or the cats, you’ll see her helping with stray dogs or other animals in need of assistance. Teesa is a true animal lover! We are pleased to have her as a member of our Action team.

  • Allyssa Cokley

    After spending a few years on the Outer Banks back in the 80’s, Allyssa moved to South Carolina to raise a family and has now returned to the place she loves most! A graduate of Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Family & Child Development, and a Master of Arts in Education from University of Phoenix, Allyssa is a people person with a can-do attitude; perfect for our customer service coordinator role. Allyssa enjoys time with family, cooking, the great outdoors, and has recently discovered the joys of kayaking.
